Family activities on the Corsican coast

Here are a few tips to make the most of your stay in family on the French seaside. On offer: nautical sports, cultural activities and discovery of the natural wonders.

    In Ajaccio

Don’t forget to take a boat trip across the sea to the Iles Sanguinaires , or to walk to the tower of la Parata, one of Corsica’s most stunning spots. There is also the all new visit with audio guide for children at the birthplace of Napoléon Bonaparte where you can immerse yourselves in the childhood memories of this great man.

    In the Sartenais Valinco Taravo

Things to do: visits with audio-guide of Sartène, the “most Corsican of Corsica’s towns”. Why not take part in nautical sports around the Gulf of Valinco, listen to polyphonic singing in a cliff top village or enjoy a whole variety of other special moments with your family.

    In Porto-Vecchio

Children will love the Treasure Hunt created by the Municipal Tourist Board with its mixture of puzzles, mystery photos, secret codes and characters waiting to be interrogated.

    In Bastia

The best season Visit during Easter time, when the maquis is in bloom and resounds with traditional songs of the local processions, and when the fine sandy beaches bordered by pine groves are bathed in sunlight.

    In L’Ile Rousse

Saleccia Park: A place of discoveries and inspiration is waiting to welcome you all year round. Take a stroll among the animals on the farm. Cabins and a huge play area will delight the younger ones. A Family Walks Pack is available at the tourist office.

    In Calvi

Nautical sports, walking and culture: While following the very same trail, adults can take advantage of a visit with audio-guide of the citadel while the kids can take part in an interactive treasure hunt. And thanks to the information boards along the route, children can play while they walk.
