A family tradition since the 18th century, several generations of winemakers have managed to retain their heritage of producing high quality wine. Benefitting from this inheritance, André, then Paul Dussourt helped to improve and evolve their wine-making techniques, while preserving historical practices that has served them for over 200 years.
Determined to produce quality wines, in a traditional way, the winemakers echo the sentiment of the Alsatian countryside. It is because of these standards, mixed with modern innovation that the Dussourt Estate is able to offer such a complex variety of wine, that they are proud to serve today.
Situated in the heart of the Alsatian vineyards, Scherwiller “Haut-Lieu du Riesling”, and the “André Dussourt” vineyard, benefits from exceptional natural conditions: sandy-granitic hillsides, alluvial plains, South and Southeast exposure, a low rainfall, and an optimal period of sunshine.
